OVERVIEW
Seven Normandy (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a brand operated by Young Venture Works LLC. We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, in order to provide you with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Seven Normandy is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services or otherwise communicate with us. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described below.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When we use the term “personal information,” we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that has been collected anonymously or de-identified so that it cannot be linked to you.

Account information: your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
Transaction information: items you view, add to your cart, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, as well as your order history.
Communications: information you include in messages to us, such as customer support inquiries.

WHERE WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how you use our Services, improve performance, and support marketing and advertising efforts.
We may collect personal information from the following sources:
Directly from you: when you create an account, place an order, visit the Services, communicate with us, or otherwise provide your information.
Automatically through the Services: from your device when you use the Services, including through cookies and similar technologies.
From our service providers: when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf, including our fulfillment partner who roasts and ships your coffee orders.
From marketing, analytics, or advertising partners: in connection with marketing, advertising, or analytics services.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
To provide and improve the Services. We use your personal information to fulfill your orders, process payments, arrange for shipping, manage your account, facilitate returns and exchanges, remember your preferences, and create a better shopping experience. Because our coffee is roasted to order and shipped directly from our fulfillment partner in the United States, your shipping and order information is shared with our fulfillment partner for the sole purpose of getting your order to you.
Marketing and advertising. We may use your personal information to send marketing communications by email and to show you relevant advertisements based on your activity and purchase history.
Security and fraud prevention. We use your personal information to authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, and detect, investigate, or take action regarding fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity.
Communicating with you. We use your personal information to provide customer support, respond to your inquiries, and send you important updates about your orders and account.
Legal reasons. We may use your personal information to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, enforce our terms or policies, and investigate potential violations.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
In certain circumstances, we may share your personal information with third parties for legitimate purposes, including:
Service providers. We share information with Shopify, our fulfillment partner, payment processors, and other vendors who perform services on our behalf, including IT management, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, and shipping.
Marketing partners. We may share information with business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertising. For example, we use Shopify to support personalized advertising with third-party services based on your online activity. Our marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you reside, you may have a right to opt out of targeted advertising. You can exercise that right here: Shopify Privacy Portal.
At your direction. When you direct us or consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties, such as to ship your order or through your use of social media features.
Affiliates. Within our business operations, as applicable.
Legal or business purposes. In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, to comply with legal obligations (including responding to subpoenas, search warrants, and similar requests), to enforce our terms of service, and to protect the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users.
RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside.
To help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data from your interactions with our store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over that data.
To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, you can visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or the Shopify Privacy Portal.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS
The Services may contain links to websites or platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated with or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party sites, and our inclusion of such links does not imply endorsement of their content or operators.
CHILDREN’S DATA
The Services are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will delete it.
As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
SECURITY AND RETENTION
No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to send us sensitive or confidential information.
How long we retain your personal information depends on various factors, including whether we need the information to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and in some cases we may decline your request as permitted by law.
Right to Access / Know. You may have a right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Right to Delete. You may have a right to request that we delete personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Correct. You may have a right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

You can exercise this right here: Shopify Privacy Portal. If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, we will treat this as a request to opt out for that device and browser. To learn more about Global Privacy Control, visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. Other than the Global Privacy Control, we do not recognize other “Do Not Track” signals.
Managing Communication Preferences. We may send you promotional emails, and you may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe option displayed in those emails. If you opt out of promotional emails, we may still send you non-promotional emails related to your account or orders.
ADDITIONAL RIGHTS FOR UK AND EEA RESIDENTS

Objection to Processing and Restriction of Processing. You may have the right to ask us to stop or restrict our processing of your personal information for certain purposes.
Withdrawal of Consent. Where we rely on consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw that consent. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.
You may exercise any of these rights by contacting us using the details below. To learn more about your rights related to data processed by Shopify, visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
